Overview
This assignment challenged us to effectively use layers, selections, and brushes to create a painted image. I chose to paint this image of a bowl of ramen. We were required to primarily use the mixer brush along with a minimum of 5 separate painting layers, 5 different brush textures, and 5 different brush sizes. To achieve my ramen bowl painting, I created custom brushes for the wood background, the bowl, the bowl speckles, the broth, the meat, and the veggies. Using selections was especially handy when painting the chopsticks.
